Frequently asked: Schools
How many schools are on MAX?
The collection now has 31 203 channels of schools, gymnasiums and lyceums; together they have 13.9 M subscribers, and 24 348 channels (78 %) posted in the last 7 days. datool.ru finds new government channels on its own, so the number keeps growing.
How does datool.ru pick channels of schools, gymnasiums and lyceums?
A channel gets here if it is a government channel (MAX itself assigns a public name like id<INN>_gos) and its title contains «школа», «СОШ», «гимназия» or «лицей». Each channel gets into only one institution collection: a “Medical University” goes to universities, not hospitals.
How do I find my school's channel?
Type the number or name of the institution, the city or the district into “Find a channel”: the search only covers channels of the collection. You can pick a region in the “Region” filter: it is known for 31 173 channels in the collection, and tagging continues.
Why is a school's channel missing from the collection?
Most likely the channel title has no marker word (the channel is called, say, “District news” or after its head), the channel is not a government one (its name has no _gos) or it is private. All government channels are in the “Government channels” collection, and an open channel can be added by link.
How do I narrow down the channels in a collection?
Above the list are the “Subscribers”, “Activity”, “Quality index”, “Marks” and “Region” filters and the “Find a channel” field: search and filters work only inside the collection. The tabs change the order: by subscribers, quality index, citations, fresh posts and newest; the “Table” view is handy for comparing. 3 406 channels in the collection have a quality index of 70 or more.
How often is the collection updated?
The collection and its filter counts are recalculated every hour. datool.ru data collection updates subscribers and posts: large channels every few minutes, small ones once a day.
What other MAX channel collections are there?
Government channels, Channels with the A+ label, Verified by owners, Million-subscriber channels, New channels, First MAX channels, 100K channels, Business channels, Post every day, Run ads, No ads, Kindergartens, Universities and colleges, Hospitals and clinics, Cultural institutions, Administrations.
