Government channels on MAX

datool.ru now knows 127 409 channels of government bodies and public institutions, 21 % of all open MAX channels. Together they have 31.1 M subscribers, and 84 870 channels posted in the last 7 days. datool.ru finds new government channels on its own, so the number keeps growing.

A channel of a government body or public institution has a public name like id<INN>_gos: MAX itself assigns this name when it connects the organization. datool.ru builds the collection by this sign and marks such channels with a coat of arms in the catalog. The channel title can be anything, while the name with the INN shows which organization runs it.

Schools, kindergartens, colleges, hospitals and houses of culture are state and municipal institutions, and MAX connects them the same way as government bodies. That is why most of the collection is small institutional channels: 107 561 channels have fewer than 400 subscribers. To see large channels of agencies and regions, pick the steps from 5,000 in the “Subscribers” filter.

Type the name of a city, school, hospital or agency into “Find a channel”: the search only covers government channels. You can pick a region in the “Region” filter: it is known for 784 channels in the collection, and tagging continues.

Above the list are the “Subscribers”, “Activity”, “Quality index”, “Marks” and “Region” filters and the “Find a channel” field: search and filters work only inside the collection. The tabs change the order: by subscribers, quality index, citations, fresh posts and newest; the “Table” view is handy for comparing. 5 917 channels in the collection have a quality index of 70 or more.
