How the quality index is calculated
Сегодня отмечается день сурдопереводчика. На советском телевидении он появился в 1987 году, а окончательно исчез в 2001-м.
Отказались от него по нескольким причинам. Во-первых, русский жестовый язык отличается от обычного русского языка в плане построения грамматических конструкций. Перевод был дословный и глухие люди не понимали до 70% текста.
Кроме того, некоторые дикторы отказывались работать с сурдопереводчиками из имиджевых соображений. Ну, и, конечно, экономические причины. Бегущая строка обходится намного дешевле, чем живой переводчик.
