Japan

The datool.ru catalog lists 17 open channels on MAX in the country “Japan”, with 5 171 subscribers between them.

The channels with the most subscribers are Удивительная Япония (2 399), Dreams About Japan • Япония (619) and Врен о Японии для туриста (545). The full list on this page can be sorted by subscribers, quality index, citation, fresh posts and newness, and filtered by topic, size and activity.

Channels most often write about Travel and tourism (2), Astrology and esoterics (1) and Fashion and beauty (1) (the number is channels with that topic).

From the channel's title and description: rules look for names of cities, towns and regions, and for government channels the region comes from the organisation's taxpayer number (INN). A channel about a city belongs to that city's region; a Russian-language channel that names no place belongs to Russia as a whole. The channel owner can choose a country, a region or “Worldwide” themselves — automation never overrides that choice.

Public MAX channels get into the datool.ru catalog on their own. Add the channel if it isn't there yet and confirm that it's yours through the datool.ru bot — after that you can set a country, a region or “Worldwide” on the channel's page.

Channel subscribers and posts are updated several times a day — every few minutes for large channels, once a day for small ones. A territory's subscriber total is recalculated every hour, its channel count once a day.
