How the quality index is calculated
What the number means
From 0 to 100. We compare a channel with similar ones: the same main topic and the same size. A district newspaper does not compete with a national channel.
What it is made of
Why some channels show “—”
We calculate the index for channels with at least 500 subscribers, with posts in the last 7 and 30 days and with views. The rest are at the end of the list.
Full methodologyWhat the number means
How often other MAX channels repost and mention the channel over the last 30 days, and how large those channels are. A repost by a national channel weighs more than a link from a channel with 50 readers.
There is no upper limit: the most cited MAX channels reach the hundreds.
What counts and how
Repeats from the same channel add less and less. A channel that mentions everyone splits its weight among them.
What is not counted
Ad posts, mentions between channels of the same owner and group chat messages. A channel with no mentions in 30 days gets 0 and shows “—” in the table.

How do I tell an official government channel on MAX?
A channel of a government body or public institution has a public name like id<INN>_gos: MAX itself assigns this name when it connects the organization. datool.ru builds the collection by this sign and marks such channels with a coat of arms in the catalog. The channel title can be anything, while the name with the INN shows which organization runs it.
Why are there so many schools and kindergartens in the collection?

To see large channels of agencies and regions, pick the steps from 5,000 in the “Subscribers” filter.
How do I find government channels of my city or agency?
Type the name of a city, school, hospital or agency into “Find a channel”: the search only covers government channels. You can pick a region in the “Region” filter: it is known for 134 999 channels in the collection, and tagging continues.
How do I narrow down the channels in a collection?
Above the list are the “Subscribers”, “Activity”, “Quality index”, “Marks” and “Region” filters and the “Find a channel” field: search and filters work only inside the collection. The tabs change the order: by subscribers, quality index, citations, fresh posts and newest; the “Table” view is handy for comparing. 5 879 channels in the collection have a quality index of 70 or more.
