📜 В 1937 году поселок получил свое имя в честь видного советского деятеля Серго Орджоникидзе, который внес значительный вклад в развитие тяжелой промышленности. В годы Великой Отечественной войны поселок был оккупирован немецко-фашистскими захватчиками, и завод был разрушен. После войны завод был восстановлен, и поселок продолжил свое развитие как центр военной промышленности.
🌅После распада Советского Союза завод пришел в упадок, а поселок постепенно переориентировался на туристическую деятельность. Уникальное географическое положение, благоприятный климат и отсутствие промышленных предприятий сделали Орджоникидзе привлекательным местом для отдыха и оздоровления.

⛵Бухта Провато. На берегах этого залива расположены многие пляжи Орджоникидзе, а также местный яхт-клуб. Морякам же залив известен со времен Позднего Средневековья, однако сейчас порта тут нет — так, частные и экскурсионные катерки пристают.
🐲Гора Джан-Куртан — посещаемое место, ведь с нее открываются прекрасные виды, а для подъема не нужны ни снаряжение, ни особая тренированность. Гора невысока — всего 238 м, что для Крыма немного. Зато у нее причудливая, почти сказочная форма когтистой лапы некоего гигантского дракона или птицы Рухх.
🏞️Гора Тепе-Оба. Возвышенность в 384 м расположена между Орджоникидзе и Феодосией. Она разместилась северо-восточнее поселка, что важно, так как благодаря этому Тепе-Оба прикрывает село от холодных северо-восточных ветров — там зимой заметно теплее, чем на соседнем крупном курорте.
🏔️Мыс Киик-Атлама — длинный, довольно сложного профиля отрог массива Биюк-Янышар, разделяющий бухты Провато и Двуякорную. Долгое время он был недоступен для посещения из-за расположения на нем сперва военного завода «Гидроприбор», а затем воинской части.
🏛️Для знакомства с поселком следует посетить краеведческий музей. Он несколько необычен для учреждения такого рода. Хотя он и рассказывает (как и положено) об истории Орджоникидзе с древнейших времен и до наших дней, основной упор сделан на… жизнь провинции Римской империи!
Да, самого поселения тогда еще не было, но для римлян эти территории имели значение. В музее гостям, среди прочего, расскажут, где проходит проложенная в римское время дорога на Тепе-Оба — по ней и сейчас вполне удобно гулять.
🤿 Дайвинг - центр обучения подводному плаванию размещается в Орджоникидзе, но при желании там можно заказать и поездку с погружением на относительно отдаленные объекты.
🏹 Гости Орджоникидзе могут научиться стрелять из лука. Тир, где можно этим заняться, находится в районе набережной.
🌊 Благодаря расположению поселка, где бы вы ни остановились, до пляжа будет недалеко, ведь Орджоникидзе с трех сторон омывается морем.
Пляжи в Орджоникидзе выходят, как на сторону Коктебельского залива, так и на Двуякорную бухту, однако, в бухте Провато их больше. Все пляжи, за исключением муниципального, покрыты галькой, иногда довольно острой, поэтому лучше запастись обувью.
🏖️Центральный пляж. Прямо к набережной подходит главный поселковый пляж. Покрывает его песок с примесью гальки, местами обустроены бетонные участки. Пляж просторен, с хорошей инфраструктурой и удобным входом в воду. Нередко тут устраивают разные конкурсы и самодеятельные концерты.
💎Агатовый пляж. Именно этот участок немного восточнее поселка считается главным местным «месторождением» самоцветов. Добираться туда не слишком легко — приходится спускаться (а затем соответственно подниматься) по длинной лестнице. Покрывающая берег галька некрупная, вход в воду удобный. Но зато вода здесь отличается чистотой и прозрачностью.
🏇 Пляж «Под седлом». Это самый известный местный дикий пляж. Расположен он в Двуякорной бухте, и место определяется по скале, напоминающей формой седло — отсюда название.

⛰ Рядом с Судаком есть село с мирным названием Дачное - почти пригород курортного города. Над этим идиллическим селением возвышается хребет с громыхающим названием - Таракташ.
🦖 Форма обусловила его название ("Таракташ" переводится как "каменный гребень"); местная народная топонимика именует скалы также "драконом" из-за сходства со спиной какого-нибудь динозавра.
👟 Он представляет собой вытянутую цепочку острых скал, невысоких, но очень крутых. Обычно туристы прогуливаются по тропе, идущей вдоль северного подножия. Для такого похода особые навыки и оборудование не требуются.
Вокруг поля виноградников, причудливые пики и невероятные панорамы далеко мерцающего синего моря.
