How the quality index is calculated
Учёные из ИФП СО РАН и НГУ подтвердили, что электроны могут вести себя как жидкость и в ней могут образовываться гидродинамические вихри.
Исследователи разделили баллистические вихри, где частицы почти не сталкиваются, и гидродинамические, где электроны часто сталкиваются и взаимодействуют друг с другом.
Новый способ надёжнее и проще тех, что используются обычно для обнаружения вихрей — сканирующей зондовой микроскопии и SQUID-магнитометрии, предъявляющей большие требования к оборудованию.
Открытие позволит разработать удобный инструмент для подтверждения электронной гидродинамики и откроет возможности для исследования электронно-жидкостных эффектов в графене.
Результаты работы опубликованы в статье Nanomechanical Detection of Vortices in an Electron Fluid (A.A. Shevyrin, A.K. Bakarov, A.G. Pogosov).
Она объединяет вирусы, хозяева которых относятся к различным доменам — бактериям и археям. До этого такое свойство было известно только у «хвостатых фагов». Хотя все представители Singelaviria найдены в наземных водоёмах, способность жить в экстремальных условиях делает их обнаружение в глубоководных гидротермальных источниках лишь вопросом времени.
Кроме того, порядка 30 морских и экстремофильных вирусов получили новые официальные латинские названия, устранившие прежнюю путаницу. Уточнение их названий и родственных связей необходимо для понимания эволюции жизни, оценки роли вирусов в глобальном изменении климата и изучения эпидемического потенциала.
В работе приняли участие учёные из ННЦМБ ДВО РАН, ДВФУ и НИИ эпидемиологии и микробиологии им. Г.П. Сомова Роспотребнадзора.
Результаты опубликованы в статье «Вирусы океана: сквозь туман неоднозначных классификаций — навстречу новым горизонтам таксономического разнообразия».
Среди императорских пасхальных яиц фирмы Фаберже, ставших эталоном отечественного ювелирного и камнерезного искусства, примечательным для науки является так называемое «Созвездие Цесаревича».
На подставке из горного хрусталя, изображающей облако, укреплены две голубые половинки яйца из кобальтового стекла. Верхняя половина — правильная полусфера с гравировкой звёздного неба.
Сегодня мы знаем, что с камнерезным искусством был соединён точный научный расчёт: на полусфере небесные тела располагаются так, как они находились над горизонтом на момент рождения цесаревича Алексея (13 часов 14 минут, 12 августа 1904 года).

• академик РАН Сергей Никитов — за разработку и внедрение радиационно стойких информационно-измерительных систем и методов контроля ядерных объектов на основе новых отечественных волоконно-оптических технологий;
• член-корреспондент РАН Александр Крылов — за разработку новых фундаментальных методических подходов и комплекса технических средств для воспроизводства рыб в искусственных условиях.
