29 октября в Российском государственном гуманитарном университете Большой детский хор Телерадиоцентра «Орфей» принял участие в торжественном мероприятии, посвящённом визиту Президента Республики Судан и церемонии присвоения ему степени почётного Доктора РГГУ.
Исполнение песни на арабском языке не оставило равнодушными представителей Судана. Президент Республики лично пожал руку каждому юному исполнителю, а делегация аплодировала ребятам стоя.

Под зрительские овации в Зале церковных соборов Храма Христа Спасителя прошёл вчера концерт романсов Академического оркестра русских народных инструментов имени Николая Некрасова Телерадиоцентра «Орфей» и солистов: Екатерины Бродской, Евгении Смольяниновой, Сергея Плюснина, Леонида Серебренникова, Ивана Ильичёва, Татьяны Семушиной, Бориса Дьякова, Николая Землянских.

С 6 по 11 ноября в Москве впервые пройдёт международный фестиваль «Версии фламенко», главными событиями которого станут обновлённая версия спектакля Эдуардо Герреро «Деспланте», за который маэстро получил первую премию на престижном конкурсе Канте де лас Минас, и премьера спектакля «Алхимия» в постановке Оксаны Серик с участием испанских и российских исполнителей, среди которых танцовщица Мария Хосе Леон Сото (Испания), гитарист Пино Лосада (Испания) и певица Алисия Моралес (Испания).

«В лунном сиянии», «Очи чёрные», «Любовь и разлука»… Старинные и новые романсы прозвучат сегодня вечером в Зале церковных соборов Храма Христа Спасителя.
На лирический концерт приглашают слушателей популярные певцы и Академический оркестр русских народных инструментов имени Николая Некрасова Телерадиоцентра «Орфей».
В сопровождении оркестра миниатюры прошлых веков и современные сочинения исполнят Екатерина Бродская, Евгения Смольянинова, Сергей Плюснин, Леонид Серебренников и другие мастера жанра.

Откроет вечер музыкальная картина «В Средней Азии» Александра Бородина. Затем прозвучат сочинения Рейнгольда Глиэра и Сергея Рахманинова.
Шедевры Рахманинова требуют от солиста технического совершенства. «Рапсодию на тему Паганини» и Третий фортепианный концерт исполнит с оркестром победитель международных конкурсов, в том числе, конкурса имени Рахманинова — Владимир Вишневский. Сергей Васильевич создавал произведения в разные периоды жизни. Над Третьим фортепианным работал в 1909 году в России; «Рапсодию…» писал, спустя четверть века, в эмиграции — на вилле в Швейцарии.
Сверстник Рахманинова, Рейнгольд Глиэр, после революции принял решение остаться в России. Концерт для арфы с оркестром он написал в 1938 году для выдающейся арфистки Ксении Эрдели. Солисткой в Храме Христа Спасителя выступит Екатерина Тупикова.
Дирижирует — художественный руководитель и главный дирижёр Симфонического оркестра радио «Орфей», заслуженный артист России Сергей Кондрашев.
