Главное в нём — посадка: новая машина встаёт на старый фундамент, точки опоры и места присоединения трубопроводов остаются прежними. Цилиндры высокого и среднего давления сделаны на базе К-315, два цилиндра низкого давления унифицированы с ней же.

Беспроводная зарядка грузовиков на ходу: Honda и Taisei готовят дорогу на 150 кВт
Honda вместе со строительными компаниями Taisei и Taisei Rotec показала основу дороги, которая заряжает электромобили на ходу. На выставке «Агросалон» в Москве «Ростсельмаш» показал трактор 3580 мощностью 580 л.с., это около 427 кВт. Главное в нём не мотор, а коробка: 16 передач вперёд и 4 назад переключаются под нагрузкой, без разрыва потока мощности. Разрабатывали её вместе с МГТУ им. Н. Э. Баумана.
Почему это важно в поле: сопротивление плуга никуда не девается, когда двигатель отсоединён от колёс. По грубой оценке, если сопротивление плуга около 30 % веса агрегата, то на 10 км/ч при разрыве потока он встаёт меньше чем за секунду. В такой коробке одна фрикционная муфта передаёт нагрузку другой, и вся тонкость в том, когда сбросить давление в старой.

Новый железнодорожный тоннель под Гудзоном между Нью-Джерси и Нью-Йорком начали проходить со стороны Нью-Джерси. 8 октября 2026 года первый щит Herrenknecht с ротором 8,74 м пошёл в скалу утёсов Палисейдс. Две такие машины массой более 1520 т каждая должны примерно за год пройти по 1,55 км до шахты у берега.
Под рекой скала сменяется мягкими грунтами, поэтому там будет работать другая пара машин, а слабое дно заранее укрепляют лёгким бетоном.

В Петербурге на рельсосварочном предприятии СТМ закончили плети для одного из двух путей ВСМ Москва — Санкт-Петербург: 1698 штук по 800 м, каждая сварена из восьми 100-метровых рельсов. Если перемножить, выйдет 1358 км рельса, то есть обе нити пути длиной около 679 км, и почти 12 тысяч заводских сварных стыков.
Самое интересное — что происходит со стыком. Сварка разрушает у шва структуру термоупрочнённого рельса, поэтому стык снова нагревают до 950 °C и обдувают воздухом, чтобы вернуть твёрдость. Допуск на прямолинейность — 0,2 мм на метр: при 400 км/ч колесо проходит этот метр за 9 миллисекунд.
