Apple представила 24-дюймовый iMac с процессором M6
Моноблок поступит в продажу 6 ноября, а предзаказы открываются 28 октября. Начальная цена в США — 1499 долларов. У компьютера сохранился экран Retina с разрешением 4,5K; корпус доступен в семи цветах.
По оценке Apple, графика нового iMac работает до двух раз быстрее, чем у версии с M4. Это заявленный максимум, а не одинаковый прирост во всех задачах.
Среди обновлений связи — Wi-Fi 7 и Bluetooth 6. В зависимости от конфигурации у iMac может быть до четырёх портов Thunderbolt 4.
iQOO выпустила Pad Pro — более доступную версию Pad Ultra
В новом планшете установлен Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. В Pad Ultra используется Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. К вариантам с 12 и 16 ГБ оперативной памяти у Pad Pro добавили конфигурацию с 8 ГБ.
Остальные основные характеристики сохранились: OLED-экран на 8,8 дюйма с разрешением 2304 × 1440 и частотой 165 Гц, активное охлаждение и аккумулятор на 9020 мАч. Яркость дисплея достигает 1600 нит.
Pad Pro поддерживает фирменный геймпад и чехол с рукоятками. Планшет уже поступил в продажу: цена начинается от 4299 юаней, на 2200 юаней ниже, чем у Pad Ultra.
iQOO выпустила Neo 12 с вентилятором в блоке камер
Игровой смартфон уже продаётся в Китае. Внутри — Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 и аккумулятор на 9000 мАч с зарядкой 100 Вт. Во время игры телефон может получать питание напрямую от зарядного устройства, минуя батарею.
Вентилятор работает в тихом, автоматическом или скоростном режиме. Отдельный чип Q3 повышает разрешение и частоту кадров до 2K и 185 кадров в секунду; трассировка лучей доступна в совместимых играх.
У Neo 12 экран на 6,83 дюйма с частотой 185 Гц. После обновления для смартфона обещан эмулятор ПК-игр — при запуске этой функции ещё нет.
Samsung получила штраф за рекламу Galaxy S21 и S22
Корейская комиссия по справедливой торговле назначила компании штраф в 20,1 млрд вон — около 15,1 млн долларов. Решение касается рекламы смартфонов Galaxy S21, S22 и планшетов Tab S8.
В рекламе Samsung обещала максимальные игровые возможности. При этом сервис Game Optimizing Service ограничивал производительность устройств в требовательных играх.
Компания не согласна с решением и намерена его обжаловать. Samsung ссылается на обновление марта 2022 года: по её словам, оно дало пользователям возможность отключать ограничения.

Counterpoint Research сравнила первые три недели продаж iPhone 18 Pro и Pro Max с тем же периодом у линейки iPhone 17 Pro годом ранее. В мире новые модели продавались лучше, но результаты по странам разошлись.
В Китае продажи выросли на 29%. Среди причин аналитики назвали выгодные предложения и скидки, а также подорожание флагманских Android-смартфонов.
В Японии продажи снизились, в том числе на фоне нестабильного курса валюты. В США они тоже оказались ниже прошлогодних. Возможная причина — отсутствие заметных улучшений по сравнению с предыдущими моделями.
Arctic Fox показала мышь с сенсорным экраном на корпусе
У Super Mouse есть 3,1-дюймовый дисплей: с него можно запускать приложения, менять громкость и яркость монитора. Виртуальным кнопкам назначаются свои команды и макросы — последовательности действий.
Внутри установлены микрофон для голосового управления и акселерометр с эмуляцией гироскопа. Мышь весит 95 граммов, размеры корпуса — 109 × 91 × 29 мм.
Работает устройство только с приложением-компаньоном для Windows или macOS. Подключение проводное, по USB-C; Bluetooth нет. Проект собирает средства на Kickstarter.
ИИ-помощник «2ГИС» начал отвечать на вопросы о транспорте
В чате теперь можно узнать, где едет нужный автобус и до какой остановки следует троллейбус. Помощник также подбирает сложные маршруты и подсказывает пересадки.
Сервису можно задать время прибытия: например, спросить, когда выйти, чтобы добраться до вокзала к определённому часу. О новых возможностях сообщила пресс-служба «2ГИС», пишет Wylsared.
Сам помощник появился ещё в прошлом году. Чат с ним должен быть уже доступен во вкладке «Вопросы» в приложении для iOS и Android, а также в веб-версии «2ГИС».
