Удивительно и радостно, как крепко и бодро выглядят немногие оставшиеся с нами ветераны Великой Отечественной. Вчера в гости к Александру Федоровичу Вагину из Дзержинска приехал новый исполняющий полномочия главы города Алексей Коротков. Ветерану исполнилось аж 103 года!
В том роковом 1941 году Саше Вагину исполнилось всего 18 лет, и он сразу же ушел на фронт из Воротынского района, где родился. Он воевал на нескольких фронтах, командовал легендарной «Катюшей», был неоднократно ранен, награжден Орденом Отечественной войны I и II степени, медалью «За оборону Сталинграда», медалью «За освобождение Белоруссии». Победу встретил в Дзержинске, куда попал после третьего ранения в Белоруссии.
После войны Александр Федорович окончил Горьковский пединститут и работал учителем истории в школе. А буквально недавно выпустил книгу воспоминаний о битве под Сталинградом

Теперь разбираться уже поздно. Скорее всего, молодому историку захотелось самоутвердиться за счет подростка, а результат вышел из-под контроля. Семиклассника сейчас наверняка поставят на учет в милиции – и поделом. Но и учителю после потасовки в школе работать уже не получится. Авторитета не будет
