Будущее России – в единстве. Было шумно в музее В.А. Закруткина в дни школьных каникул. Приезжали из Шахт, Ростова, Константиновска. Сегодня, 29 октября 2026 года, прибыли в музей учащиеся 5-х классов из районного посёлка Каменоломни. Сотрудники музея провели для них экскурсию «Донской край – земля согласия» о жизни и творчестве В.А. Закруткина на земле Кочетовской. Было подчеркнуто, что Дон – это прекрасное место, где чудесным образом дружно живут и трудятся люди разных национальностей. Созидательная деятельность украшает и славит древнюю казачью землю. Об этом писал Закруткин в очерке «Кочетовцы», романах «Плавучая станица» и «Сотворение мира». В Кочетовской, отмечал Виталий Александрович, живут в согласии русские и белорусы, татары и калмыки, есть немцы, корейцы и представители других народов. Сплоченность многонационального народа проявлялась во время Великой Отечественной войны, при восстановлении хозяйства, разрушенного войной и в других сложных ситуациях. Мы – семья, и мы друзья, Мы – народ, и мы едины, Вместе мы непобедимы. В. Орлов Способность многонационального общества самоорганизоваться перед лицом угроз чрезвычайно заметна в наши дни, когда молодёжь, представители многих национальностей принимают участие в специальной военной операции, защищая Отечество от неофашистов, продолжая военные, духовные, нравственные традиции российского народа. В гостиной Закруткиных слушали фрагменты из произведений нашего земляка, стихи Б.Куликова, В. Орлова, В. Латынина, говорили о важности государственного праздника – Дне народного единства.
Обучающиеся лагеря дневного пребывания «Жемчужина Дона» побывали в музее Сегодня наш музей посетили ребята первой городской школы. Многие дети были первый раз в нашем музее. Они совершили увлекательную обзорную экскурсию и погрузились в атмосферу казачьей культуры. Учащиеся познакомились с живописью нашего земляка Николая Ивановича Медведева, увлеклись выставкой самоваров и коллекцией значков. Особый интерес вызвал рассказ о земляках-участниках специальной военной операции, чьи личные вещи теперь стали экспонатами музея. Кроме того их заинтересовал интерактивный уголок «Редакция фронтовой газеты». Каждый пожелал что-то напечатать. Ученики почувствовали как удобно сидеть за партой прошлого века. Было очень приятно видеть интерес в глазах детей! Ждём снова в нашем музее!
Юные исследователи в музее! Сегодня музей встречал юных гостей — воспитанников лагеря дневного пребывания «Жемчужина Дона» первой городской школы. Ребята отправились в путешествие сквозь время на выставке «Совет да любовь! Свадьба: история и современность». Под руководством главного хранителя Анны Николаевны Пажаевой они раскрывали тайны свадебных обрядов Донского края, погружались в быт и традиции донских казаков. Особый интерес у ребят вызвали традиционные костюмы и старинные свадебные фотографии — в этих кадрах будто оживает история! Благодарим юных посетителей за любознательность и активное участие! Ждём новых встреч!
Славен Дон. 28 октября в музее Закруткина состоялась экскурсия и поэтическая встреча для учащихся лагеря дневного пребывания Кочетовской школы. Дети с интересом слушали о том, как донская земля стала для В.А. Закруткина благодатной и вдохновенной. Здесь, в Кочетовской, были созданы романы «Плавучая станица», «Сотворение мира», написаны книги «Матерь человеческая», «Млечный путь», «Подсолнух», «Слово о бессловесном». Для гостей прозвучали фрагменты из «Подсолнуха», «Дорогами большой войны» и «Млечный путь». Мальчиков во время экскурсии впечатлили казачьи сабли и шашка, походная сумка донцов, скульптурка лошадей и многое другое. В гостиной Закруткиных в этот день звучали стихи о Доне Б. Куликова, А. Калинина, Ю. Савченко, Ю. Ремесника. Раздольные казачьи песни заполнили своей красотой и гармонией всё пространство музея и сердца всех исполнителей, детей и взрослых.

24 октября музей В.А. Закруткина посетили паломники из города Батайска, прихожане храма «Святой Троицы». Какие это замечательные люди, увлеченные, пытливые, прекрасные слушатели и собеседники, с восхищением гулявшие по усадьбе Закруткиных, возложившие цветы к подножью памятника талантливого земляка. Сотрудники музея посвятили гостей Батайска в незабываемые, захватывающие, волнующие этапы жизни писателя В.А. Закруткина, рассказали о учебе Виталия Закруткина в Ленинграде в аспирантуре, защите диссертации по творчеству Пушкина, его встречах с М. Шолоховым, С. Серафимовичем, С. Сергеевым–Ценским, о фронтовых дорогах военного журналиста, майора Закруткина и его боевых товарищей, о наградах за героические подвиги, в том числе – о медали «За Победу над Германией». Все это сопровождалось чтением фрагментов из книг писателя. Коллектив музея организовал для паломников чаепитие со свежими пирогами. Люди с благодарностью покидали «большой остров» - Кочетовскую, высказывая пожелание - вновь сюда возвратиться. Жизнь Закруткина была наполнена интересными, захватывающими, примечательными, незабываемыми событиями, которых хватило бы не на одну экскурсию.
25 октября учащиеся 7 классов Шахтинской школы побывали в Кочетовской. Они выбрали экологическую экскурсию, предполагая подышать свежим воздухом, полюбоваться осенней природой, получить эстетическое наслаждение от золота берез и тополей, пурпурных красок лесной ежевики и дикого винограда. Сотрудники музея предложили пройти по природному маршруту, который привлекал при жизни В.А. Закруткина. По светлым песчаным дорожкам, с детьми, мы прошли вдоль Дона, что волшебно серебрился в лучах осеннего солнца. Восторгались прибрежными деревьями и кустарниками, что радовали яркими красками. Долго смотрели на падающую с плотины бушующую воду и грандиозные башни гидроузла. Беседовали об охране природных ресурсов, в том числе об обводном канале, строительство которого, ждут неравнодушные люди Донской земли. В этот день юные гости из Шахт любовались чистейшими осенними водами Барсовки и Плески, золотыми полянами на «Церковном рынке», поздними осенними цветами и слушали восклицания Закруткина о природе донской земли: «Край родной! Прославленный в песнях Дон! Песчаные его закоски, тополевые леса, вербы на берегах... Где бы я ни был – душа моя тянется к тебе, любимая земля!
