🕊️ Обретение мощей святителя Иоанна, митрополита Тобольского Сегодня Церковь вспоминает обретение мощей святителя Иоанна Тобольского.
После кончины святителя в 1715 году его почитание постепенно распространялось, а у места погребения верующие молились и свидетельствовали о помощи по его молитвам. В начале XX века было проведено церковное освидетельствование останков святителя.
В 1914 году честные останки святителя Иоанна были вновь освидетельствованы и торжественно помещены в специальную серебряную гробницу для хранения мощей.
В 1916 году святитель Иоанн был причислен к лику святых. Сегодня его мощи пребывают в Покровском соборе Тобольского кремля.

Человек часто оценивает успех по тому, чем он обладает, какого положения достиг и какое впечатление производит на окружающих. Но в духовной жизни главным становится другое - состояние сердца, способность отказаться от гордости, не ставить себя выше других и помнить, что все доброе мы получаем от Бога.
Эти слова особенно перекликаются с житием преподобного Николы Святоши, который добровольно оставил княжескую славу и богатство ради простой монашеской жизни и служения братии.
Пусть Господь помогает нам ценить не внешнее, а то, что действительно делает душу богаче: смирение, любовь, милосердие и добрые дела. 🙏
«Не заботьтесь ни о чем, но всегда в молитве и прошении с благодарением открывайте свои желания пред Богом, и мир Божий, который превыше всякого ума, соблюдет сердца ваши и помышления ваши во Христе Иисусе» Флп. 4:6–7
Эти слова не призывают человека совсем перестать думать о своих делах и трудностях. Речь о другом: тревога не должна становиться тем, что полностью управляет нашей жизнью. Когда мы постоянно прокручиваем в голове возможные беды, пытаемся заранее предусмотреть все и удержать под контролем то, что от нас не зависит, сердце постепенно теряет мир.
Апостол предлагает другой путь - приносить свои переживания Богу в молитве. Не скрывать страх, не делать вид, что все хорошо, а честно говорить Господу о том, что беспокоит, просить помощи и одновременно помнить о благодарности за то доброе, что уже есть в нашей жизни.
Особенно важны здесь слова о мире Божием. Он не обязательно приходит тогда, когда сразу исчезают все проблемы. Иногда обстоятельства остаются прежними, но внутри появляется спокойствие, терпение и силы сделать следующий шаг.
Молитва помогает отделить то, что действительно зависит от нас, от того, что приходится доверить Богу. Сделать необходимое, попросить помощи и не мучить себя бесконечными мыслями о будущем🙏
🕊️ Святитель Афанасий (Сахаров), исповедник, епископ Ковровский Святитель Афанасий, в миру Сергей Сахаров, родился в 1887 году во Владимире. Он окончил Московскую духовную академию, принял монашество и стал известен как глубокий знаток церковного богослужения. Участвовал в Поместном Соборе 1917–1918 годов и трудился над службой Всем святым, в земле Российской просиявшим.
В 1921 году Афанасий стал епископом Ковровским. Его служение пришлось на годы жестоких гонений на Церковь. Святитель неоднократно подвергался арестам, ссылкам и заключению - около тридцати лет его жизни прошли в тюрьмах, лагерях и изгнании. Несмотря на испытания, он сохранял молитву, веру и заботу о людях.
После освобождения святитель жил в Петушках Владимирской области. Одними из его последних слов стали: «Молитва вас всех спасет!» Он отошел ко Господу 28 октября 1962 года, а в 2000 году был причислен к лику святых.
Жизнь святителя Афанасия напоминает, как важно даже в самых тяжелых обстоятельствах сохранять веру, молитву и любовь к людям.
