Катаракта — это самое частое возрастное изменение (помутнение) хрусталика, которое развивается постепенно и безболезненно. И это самая частая причина слепоты в мире, но, к счастью, она успешно лечится. Более чем у половины людей старше 60 лет в той или иной степени развивается это заболевание.
🔍 В чём суть проблемы?
Хрусталик работает как линза в фотоаппарате: он фокусирует свет на сетчатке. Когда он мутнеет, свет не может пройти свободно, и зрение ухудшается.
Основные симптомы:
· Нечёткое, «туманное» зрение. · Появление ореолов и бликов вокруг источников света (особенно ночью). · Снижение ночного зрения. · Цвета кажутся более жёлтыми и тусклыми. · Повышенная чувствительность к яркому свету.
Главные факторы риска: возраст, курение, диабет, длительное воздействие ультрафиолета, травмы глаза и приём некоторых лекарств (например, кортикостероидов).
🏥 Операция: «золотой стандарт» лечения
На сегодняшний день не существует капель или таблеток, способных убрать катаракту. Единственный радикальный метод — хирургическая замена мутного хрусталика.
Современная операция называется факоэмульсификацией:
1. Доступ: хирург делает сверхмалый микропрокол (около 2 мм). 2. Удаление: через прокол вводится ультразвуковой зонд, который дробит помутневший хрусталик на мельчайшие частицы и «высасывает» их. 3. Имплантация: на место удалённого хрусталика устанавливается прозрачная интраокулярная линза (ИОЛ) — искусственный хрусталик, который остаётся в глазу навсегда.

Хотя полностью предотвратить возрастную катаракту невозможно, можно замедлить её прогрессирование и снизить риски.
1. Защита от солнца: Носите солнцезащитные очки с UV-400 (блокируют 100% ультрафиолета). Важна именно УФ-защита, а не степень затемнения стекол. 2. Отказ от курения: Курение достоверно ускоряет помутнение хрусталика. 3. Контроль диабета: Поддержание нормального уровня сахара в крови снижает риск осложнений на глаза. 4. Сбалансированное питание: Употребляйте продукты, богатые антиоксидантами: витамин C (цитрусовые, болгарский перец), витамин E (орехи, растительные масла), каротиноиды (морковь, шпинат, кукуруза). 5. Регулярные осмотры: Ежегодная проверка зрения у офтальмолога помогает вовремя заметить изменения.
