По его словам, столь представительный состав участников свидетельствует о твёрдом настрое России и Африки развивать взаимовыгодные связи и вдохнуть дополнительную динамику в партнёрство.
Президент выразил уверенность, что московский саммит будет успешным и продуктивным, а принятые решения создадут прочный задел для совместной работы на многие годы вперёд. Он подчеркнул, что российско-африканские отношения опираются на традиции дружбы, взаимной выручки, уважения и равноправия.
Путин также заявил, что Россию и Африку объединяет приверженность справедливой и многополярной системе мироустройства, свободной от диктата. Он отметил, что Россия стремится вносить реальный вклад в решение проблем Африки, участвовать в урегулировании кризисов и помогать в борьбе с терроризмом, эпидемиями и голодом.

Встреча прошла в рамках саммита Россия – Африка. Участие приняли представители Африканского союза, Африканской континентальной зоны свободной торговли, Союза арабского Магриба, Общего рынка Восточной и Южной Африки, Восточноафриканского сообщества, Экономического сообщества государств Западной Африки, Экономического сообщества государств Центральной Африки, Сообщества развития Юга Африки, Межправительственной организации по развитию и Африканского экспортно-импортного банка. Также к встрече присоединились Председатель Коллегии Евразийской экономической комиссии и Генеральный секретарь СНГ.
Путин назвал Африканский союз ключевым партнёром России. С ним действует трёхлетняя "дорожная карта" сотрудничества в торгово-экономической, научно-технической, социальной, гуманитарной и культурной сферах, а также в области политики и безопасности. Начата работа над запуском отраслевых диалогов российских ведомств с комиссариатами Афросоюза.
Россия поддержала вступление Африканского союза в "Группу двадцати" в качестве полноправного участника в 2024 году. На совете при полномочном представителе президента в УрФО обсудили развитие молочного и мясного скотоводства, птицеводства и свиноводства, уделив внимание привлечению инвестиций и господдержке.
Птицеводство является ведущим направлением животноводства Урала, на долю округа приходится 6,8% российского производства птицы на убой. Свердловская область входит в десятку регионов-лидеров по объёмам реализации товарного молока.
Замминистра сельского хозяйства Роман Некрасов также подчеркнул значимость учёта сельхозживотных для развития селекции и повышения продуктивности поголовья.
Минприроды упростит отчётность об утилизации товаров и упаковки
Минприроды России подготовило технические изменения в правила подачи отчётности об утилизации товаров и упаковки. Поправки направлены на сокращение ошибок и времени на подготовку документов.
Масса товаров в отчётности будет округляться до целого числа в килограммах. Исключаются дублирующие требования о предоставлении документов, подтверждающих вывоз товаров из России.
Уточняется дата подачи отчётности для товаров, ввозимых не из стран ЕАЭС: в форме будет указываться дата выпуска продукции таможней. Также уточняются правила уплаты экологического сбора для экспортируемых товаров.

28 октября отмечается 82-я годовщина освобождения всей территории Украинской ССР от немецко-фашистских захватчиков, завершившегося в 1944 году.
По данным МИД России, оккупанты разрушили свыше 700 городов и посёлков, около 28 тысяч сёл, а также разграбили десятки тысяч учреждений и предприятий. Освобождение стало возможным после победоносного завершения Восточно-Карпатской стратегической операции Красной армии.
В ведомстве заявили, что сегодняшний киевский режим пытается надругаться над памятью героев-освободителей через уничтожение исторической памяти, фальсификацию фактов, снос памятников и восхваление нацистских приспешников.
