Йод против фитофторы работает только как профилактика, не как лечение. Возбудитель любит влажность выше 75% и температуру +15 до +22 — как раз наш июль. Заметил: болезнь обходит ухоженные подвязанные кусты, а загущенные посадки и полив по листу на ночь — прямой путь к вспышке.
Рецепт на 10 литров воды: не капайте чистый йод на голый лист, сожжёте молодые листья. Обязательно прилипатель — молоко, сыворотка или жидкое мыло, иначе раствор скатится шариками. Опрыскивать утром или вечером, в пасмурный безветренный день, не в жару выше +25.
Сроки: через неделю после высадки рассады, затем при первых завязях и когда плоды наливаются. После ливня обработку повторяю — всё смывает.

Перекись водорода 3% — мой выбор после трёх сезонов испытаний. Держу чернушку в тёплом растворе (+35) ровно 15 минут, промываю и в землю. Кислород разрушает эфирные масла на оболочке, зародыш дышит и трогается в рост. Передержка губит: полчаса — и всхожесть падает, всходы рваные.
Марганцовка только дезинфицирует, всходы не ускоряет, а старым семенам вообще вредит — теряется до трети всхожести. Зольный настой (100 г золы на литр кипятка, сутки, процедить) — мягкая альтернатива: 4-6 часов замачивания с подкормкой калием.
Соль — не стимулятор, а сортировка: в 5% растворе пустые семена всплывают за 15 минут.

Сухие семена томатов тянут влагу из грунта 2-5 дней, а в холодном марте этот срок растягивается, и появляется риск загнивания. В прошлом сезоне разделил партию «Саньки»: замоченные на сутки взошли на 4 дня раньше и дружно, сухие вылезали с разбросом в 6 дней — пикировать такое мучение.
Замачиваю свои семена, простые пакетики без глазури, старые (4-5 год) и при посеве в прохладе ниже 22 градусов. Дражированные и цветные не трогаю — смоете защиту. И не мочите, если не посеете сразу: проросток без земли гибнет за пару часов.
База: тёплая вода 40-45 градусов, ткань мокрая, но семена не плавают — им нужен воздух. Держу 6-12 часов.

После уборки ранней зелени в мае земля прогрета до 10-12 градусов, сорняки вычищены, структура рыхлая. Грех простаивать. Плоскорезом прохожу на 5-7 см, рыхлю вилами — и сразу сею. После редиски отлично идёт морковь на пучок, после шпината — кустовая фасоль: в лунку горсть компоста, всходы крепкие через неделю.
Бобовые — первый кандидат: горох по краю, дайкон в центр, друг другу не мешают. Корнеплоды (свёкла, редис, морковь) сею до 25 мая, позже уйдут в стрелку. Кабачки кустовые — не больше трёх на грядку 1х3, в лунку полведра перегноя.
Свежий навоз не вношу — сожжёт корни. Только компост или биогумус, литровая банка на три метра.

Первые 7–10 дней после всходов картофель живёт за счёт материнского клубня — подкормка бесполезна, корни ещё слабые. А вот с 15 по 30 день закладываются столоны, «точки будущего урожая». Пропустите это окно — недоберёте клубней.
Ориентир для первой подкормки: куст 10–15 см, 4–6 настоящих листьев. Тёмно-зелёные листья — азот не трогайте, бледные с желтизной — вносите. Карбамид — столовая ложка на 10 л воды, по влажной земле. Или настой крапивы: литр на ведро.
С фазы бутонизации азот сокращаем, идём в калий и фосфор — иначе ботва жирует, а клубни мельчают. И проверьте кислотность: на кислой почве калий с магнием просто не доходят до растения.

Спаржа чувствительна к морозам ниже минус пятнадцати, особенно на песчаных почвах. В октябре обрезаю стебли, оставляя пенёк пять сантиметров, рыхлю междурядья вилами и кладу двадцать сантиметров перегноя или компоста. Торф не годится — слёживается и не дышит.
Молодой хрен окучиваю на пять-семь сантиметров и укрываю лапником: под ним дышит и не запревает, в отличие от плёнки. Топинамбур не трогаю под корень — оставляю стебли двадцать сантиметров для снегозадержания, сверху десять сантиметров компоста и сухая трава. Часть клубней оставляю в земле до весны.

Совмещать культуры в одной теплице можно, но не по принципу «воткнул рядом и жди чуда». Работает только с похожими требованиями к влажности, теплу и питанию. Классика — томаты с базиликом: запах отпугивает белокрылку, влажность совпадает на 85-90 процентов. Огурцы с укропом тоже дружат — укроп привлекает журчалок, чьи личинки едят тлю.
А вот томаты с огурцами вместе я больше не сажаю. В 2023-м разделил их плёнкой, держал влажность 70 процентов — получил фитофтору на томатах и горькие огурцы, урожай упал на четверть. В 2024-м поставил капитальную перегородку — всё вернулось к норме. Полынь и фенхель в теплицу вообще не заносите, они угнетают почти всех соседей.
Совет: делите пространство на зоны.

Первым делом проверяю точку роста: у перца есть спящие почки в пазухах, и даже с погибшей макушкой куст может проснуться через 5-10 дней. Критичны не столько цифры, сколько резкость: кратковременные 0…-1 °C растение переживает, а вот -2 °C дольше 4 часов губит почти всё.
Утром после заморозка не поливаю и не ставлю на солнце — заношу в прохладу +10…+12 °C на 2-3 часа для плавного оттаивания. Через сутки сгибаю стебель: пружинит — жив, водянистый — удаляю. Срезаю только чёрные листья, зелёные и стеклянистые оставляю.
Первые 3-5 дней без удобрений — корни в шоке. Опрыскиваю вечером Эпином по инструкции или настоем ивовой воды.

В середине июля грядка часто превращается в жёлтый гербарий: плети сохнут, завязи вянут. Но я заметил, что у соседки огурцы висят до сентября. Секрет простой — не ждать календаря, а действовать по сигналам: пожелтение нижних листьев, остановка завязей, пустоцветы. Омоложение провожу в два захода — конец июля и середина августа.
Сначала убираю только пожелтевшие листья, а длинные плети прищипываю, оставляя на каждой не меньше трёх-четырёх здоровых листьев — без них корни голодают. Иногда вместо обрезки прикапываю старую плеть влажной землёй: через неделю появляются новые корешки. В середине лета азот не даю, только фосфор и калий — литр зольного настоя на ведро воды или горсть костной муки под куст.
