В Новочебоксарске открылась выставка "Взгляд на жизнь", приуроченная к 80-летию резчика по кости и художника Георгия Семенова.
Уроженец Чувашии почти 40 лет прожил на Чукотке, где основал детскую школу искусств в поселке Эгвекинот и создал косторезный клуб "Кит". Мастер освоил традиционную резьбу по китовой кости и монументальную графику, выживал в арктических штормах и получил звание народного мастера региона.
В 65 лет Семенов вернулся на родину и поселился в старинном Мариинском Посаде. На выставке представлены работы из кости, графика, живопись и снимки волжской природы. Сейчас юбиляр готовит масштабное полотно о чувашских традициях.
В Новочебоксарске спасатели начали проводить в школах практические уроки безопасности перед ледоставом. Первое такое занятие прошло для учеников школы № 16.
Сотрудники станции "Новочебоксарская" и управления ГО и ЧС объяснили детям, чем опасна первая корка на водоемах, и напомнили базовые правила безопасности на воде. Ребятам показали, как выбираться на ледовую кромку без паники и какие действия спасут жизнь, если провалился под лед.
Отдельно разобрали, как вытащить тонущего друга с помощью шарфа или ветки, не рискуя самому уйти на дно. Такие рейды пройдут и в других школах.
Из Новочебоксарска на перерабатывающий завод в Альметьевск отправили первую в сезоне крупную партию старых покрышек весом 20 тонн. Изношенную резину измельчат в крошку, чтобы сделать из нее безопасные покрытия для детских и спортивных площадок, а также вторичный каучук и компоненты топлива.

Пьяный водитель с ребёнком без кресла попался ночью в Новочебоксарске
В ночь на 24 октября на Ельниковском проезде экипаж ДПС остановил «Хонду». За рулём был мужчина 1989 года рождения, в салоне — женщина и маленький мальчик, который сидел на переднем сиденье без детского удерживающего устройства.
При проверке выяснилось, что у водителя нет водительского удостоверения, а на машине тонировка, не соответствующая ГОСТу.
Суд обязал выплатить миллион восьмилетнему сыну погибшего бойца
В Новочебоксарске соцзащита отказала мальчику в выплате, сославшись на отсутствие подтверждения рождения или прописки отца в Чувашии. Городская прокуратура вмешалась в ситуацию и проверила её: военный с 2016 года жил с семьёй в городе и воспитывал сына.
Прокуратура через суд добилась отмены отказа и признания права ребёнка на поддержку.
Чувашка отсудила деньги у автосалона за скрученный пробег
В феврале 2026 года она купила иномарку за 1,5 млн рублей. Через месяц выяснилось, что на одометре 82 660 км, хотя реально машина проехала 134 433 км. Переплата составила 200 тысяч.
