Сериалы в оригинале против дубляжа
Смотрим сериал про юристов со взрослой ученицей и я, как переводчик в душе, часто сравниваю оригинал с тем, как наши перевели это.
Вот ситуация:
Молодой адвокат пытается подбодрить свою подругу, которая является помощником адвоката (paralegal) и говорит от ее имени, какая она успешная.
В первой серии, герой удивляется, что у нее есть кабинет, хотя она всего лишь помощник адвоката, при том, что настоящие адвокаты работают, в так называемом open space.
Поэтому, в оригинале акцент в принципе на наличии кабинета, а переводчик (не зная предыстории видимо) додумал и добавил, что он "шикарный". Зачем ?🤔
Я бы перевела по-другому. Тем-более у нас четко написано "unheard of" , т.е неслыханно.
P.S А какие же ужасные голоса им дают при озвучке...
