В календаре Русской Православной Церкви есть особая памятная дата — день особого поминовения православных христиан, «безвинно богоборцами убиенных или безвинно пребывавших в заключении» в советские времена.
Заупокойные богослужения по ним в этот день совершаются повсеместно в российских храмах 30 октября, когда в стране на государственном уровне отмечается День памяти жертв политических репрессий.
Дата непростая, тесно связанная с историей сотен тысяч семей в нашей стране.

Всякий православный христианин во время Божественной литургии неизбежно сталкивается с таким привычным и одновременно загадочным древним словом, как «воздух». Великая ектения после «Миром Господу помолимся» среди последующих прошений содержит и «О благорастворении воздухов, изобилии плодов земных и временех мирных Господу помолимся».
Основа православного богослужения - восточная и греческая поэтика. Это слышно, что называется, невооруженным ухом. Придя на Литургию, к примеру, вы почти сразу познакомитесь с замечательным выражением - «благорастворение воздухов». О благорастворении воздухов и прочих нуждах людей священник молится, произнося ряд прошений, которые в комплексе называются ектеньей.
Выражение «благорастворение воздухов» относит нас к мудрому пониманию мироустройства, которым обладали наши предки. Византийцы полагали, что существуют два вида воздуха: вышний и нижний. В вышнем (эфире) обитают ангелы, а нижним (аэром) дышим мы, люди. Аэр, нижний воздух, фактически атмосфера, по мнению византийцев, был неоднороден. В одних местах он был перенасыщен влагой, в других, наоборот, был слишком сух. Где-то аэр был перегрет солнцем, а где-то испытывал нехватку тепла. Поэтому наиболее приятным для человека византийцы считали аэр, правильно смешанный, иначе благорастворенный. С точки зрения православных христиан Ближнего Востока, идеальным растворением воздуха является состояние.
Поэтому выражение «благорастворение воздухов» они понимают так: пришло облако и благорастворилось в виде хорошего дождя. Чего еще желать в засушливом климате? В нашей полосе благорастворение воздухов понимается скорее в византийском ключе как хорошая, сбалансированная погода. Итак, запомним, что церковнославянское выражение «благорастворение воздухов» переводится на русский язык как «хорошая погода».
Молитва о благорастворении воздухов — это не просто просьба о хорошей погоде. Это прошение о гармонии между человеком и природой, о том, чтобы весь окружающий мир служил благу человека, а не становился источником бед. В изначальном состоянии природа была подчинена человеку, потому что всё в мире служило его удобству и благу.
Таким образом, эта молитва символизирует стремление к восстановлению той изначальной гармонии, когда природа, «воздухи», естественным образом способствовала благополучию человека.
