В Турции отловили и поместили в приюты всех бездомных животных, объявил глава МВД республики Мустафа Чифтчи.
Отлов бездомных животных проводился на основании принятых парламентом в июле 2024 года поправок к закону. Они предусматривают отлов бродячих собак, создание для них приютов в муниципалитетах и штраф в размере до $1,5 тыс. за отказ или неправильное обращение владельцев с ними. На момент принятия закона в Турции насчитывалось свыше 4 млн бродячих собак.
